Volunteering!

Although we do not have a formal work-share program in place at Well Fed, we accept volunteer help when offered. You can always expect to be compensated with veggies in return for your time. However, we do ask that you are capable of lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly, and are available to volunteer for, minimum, 3 hour shifts.

Please email us at wellfedfarmstead@gmail.com to discuss times and availability.

Working at Well Fed

Our crew has been chosen for the year, but if you're interested in working on the farm next season, read on and take note. We are generally hiring from February-April each year.

Vegetable production experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Experience in landscaping, construction, and other outdoor labor positions is a plus. We are looking for someone who enjoys working outside, is physically fit, capable of working long days, can work well in challenging weather, be an active team player, and has excellent communication skills. We are a tight knit crew here at Well Fed and we highly value attitude, charisma, and personality, not only work skills.

All farm crew members must have reliable transportation, be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly, be able to work well alone and with the team, be able to retain and perform complex instruction and duties, be respectful and conscientious.

To apply for any of the positions listed below, please email your resume, cover letter, and 2 professional references to wellfedfarmstead@gmail.com. In the email subject line please let us know which position(s) you are interested in applying for. You can indicate more than one position, in case your first priority is already filled. Prior farming experience on a food production farm is a big plus in our hiring process, but not necessary to apply.
